Description
Group portrait of A Squadron of the 11th Australian Light Horse Regiment on parade. Identified eighth from right, behind the row of officers is possibly 2428 Trooper (Tpr) Frank Fisher, an Aboriginal serviceman who was born at Clermont, Queensland. Other Aboriginal servicemen in A Squadron were Troopers 2426 Harry Doyle, 2437 David Molloy and 2441 Jack Pollard. Trooper Doyle may be present in this image, but when the image was taken Trooper Molloy was absent in hospital and Trooper Pollard was attached to 4th Light Horse Training Regiment at Moascar from 2nd to 22nd December 1918.
