Description
British First World War poster depicting a caricature of a heavily laden soldier standing near an old wooden cart wheel, that lies on the ground near him. The accompanying text encourages taking salvagable goods to the salvage dump in order to save scarce resources. Charles Lamb Davidson (1897-1948) was a Brechin, Scotland, born painter and stained glass designer, interior designer and cartoonist.
