404546 Devon George Minchin, of Sydney, NSW, a pilot with 450 Squadron RAAF, collecting his parachute from the parachute truck. The parachute packer (unidentified) would say, 'if it doesn't work bring it back and I'll give you another one', but he packed all the parachutes for four years and none ever failed, because every parachute had to be unpacked and aired regularly, perhaps every 14 days.
