Description
An aerial view of the Cambodian countryside between Battambang and Phnom Penh, taken from a Russian-built Mi-26 'Halo' (MiL) helicopter. The agricultural nature of Cambodia's countryside can be clearly gauged from the hundreds of small, flooded paddy fields that stretch into the haze. Given the enormity of Cambodia's anti personnel mine problem, much of the country's arable land is unavailable for agriculture. This image forms a panorama with P03258.093.
