Description

A member of the Khmer Rouge sits on the window sill of an abandoned building close to the Turtle Wat meditation caves which were used to dump victims of the Pol Pot regime, located on the road from the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) base at Battambang to the Khmer Rouge stronghold at Pailin. He is carrying a Chinese Type 56 copy of an AK-47 assault rifle and his pants are made from traditionally patterned Khmer cotton.
