Description

At least 70 neatly parked white UN vehicles, mostly Toyotas, belonging to the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) sit adjacent to the UN Reception Centre, which consists of a line of at least seven large, long temporary transportables over which two blue UN flags fly. The Reception Centre, located on the outskirts of Phnom Penh and run by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), hosted returning refugee families from the Thai border camps after their 13 hour train journey from Sisophon.
