Turn that gas down
Description
Issued in support of a winter fuel economy campaign by the British Ministry for Fuel and Power this poster encourages viewers to conserve energy by turning down the gas level when boiling a kettle. The Ministry was formed in 1942 to co-ordinate coal production, allocation of fuel supplies, energy pricing and petrol rationing.
