Description
Dust swirls in the wake of a Russian made BTR 70 armoured personnel carrier (APC) as it thunders past a motor scooter which has just stopped to let it pass on a main road outside Battambang. At least five soldiers are perched on the deck and turret of
the APC. A 1980s development of the BTR 60, the BTR 70 was widely used amongst Cambodia's various military factions, although it is unclear from this image exactly which faction is operating this particular vehicle.
