Description

With a small wad of paper money clutched in one hand and a krama (a traditional Khmer scarf) cushioning her head, a serious young Khmer girl from a village in the Maung Russey district of Battambang Province carries a metal tray full of snacks to sell to families working on a dam building project funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and managed by Australian Catholic Relief (ACR). This girl also appears in P03258.381, at the far right of the group of squatting women.
