A Cambodian farmer leans against the wooden fence of a shaded pig pen at a farm in the southern province of Takeo. Other enclosures and shelters appear behind him. Pigs, like zebus and other cattle, form a vital supplement to diet and income, especially during Cambodia's dry season when food and water resources are particularly scarce.
