A cyclo driver meanders past a two storey building close to Phnom Penh's Central Markets displaying a large political banner displaying the English words 'Communism is Evil' at the height of the 1993 election campaign. The Khmer text on the roof mounted banner also reads 'Communism is Evil', while the lower banner repeats 'Republic Democracy Khmer' in Khmer and English, indicating that this is an office of the Republic Democracy Khmer Party (REDEK), one of the smaller parties, which polled 11,524 votes (0.29 percent of the total) in the May 1993 election. The central flag of the three flying from the first floor balcony is the Cambodian flag, while the other two are unidentifiable. In front of the building is a reading board displaying the latest edition of the daily newspaper.
