Description
A Khmer man squats behind vegetables and other produce that he is offering for sale in a street in central Phnom Penh. The state of the Cambodian economy, and the level of poverty experienced by a large percentage of the population upon the arrival of the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) was such that people and families will try to sell anything - from a single apple to a plastic bag - to make money.
