An unofficial poster by the 1st Topographical Survey Troop depicting two caricatured Australian soldiers charging forward with rifles firing, under enemy bombardment, while a civilian aeroplane flies across the top. This poster was based on an American design with changes made to the soldier's hats, rifles and insignia stripes to portray Australian servicemen.
Peter Dew 38607 / (Temporary) Corporal, Royal Australian Survey Corps served under A Section, 1st Topographical Survey Troop. Also responsible for creating an Australian appropriation of another American image featuring the glamourous 'Connie Rodd' (ARTV08220) his work provides insights into the attitudes of some Australian servicemen and their interaction with American troops in Vietnam.
