Spirit Flask : Gunner E L Jarrett, 7 Field Artillery Brigade, AIF
Description
Glass flask with removable pewter base engraved with a laurel wreath pattern on either side. The top half of the flask is encased in leather with a vertical window on either side. The flask has a screw top lid.
History / Summary
Associated with 18684 Gunner Edward Lawrence Jarrett who enlisted on the 17 November 1915 and served with the Seventh Field Artillery Brigade. He was wounded in battle in 1918 and spent time convalescing at Netley Red Cross Hospital. He returned to Australia on 2 March 1919.
