Description
In 1920 the French Government issued loans to finance reconstruction following the First World War. Designed by the artist Paul David, a well known painter of interiors, this sumptuous poster is one of a series commissioned by an Algerian Financial institution, the Compagnie Alegerienne, seeking subscribers to the loan.
