Rosehill Racecourse, Sydney, NSW. Members of the American Army undertaking a training exercise to assemble a Mark 1 Light Weight Air Warning (LW/AW) Radar. They are finalising the array and mast so they are ready to be placed in upright position. The A frame is on the right. The frame has been raised, probably to simulate soft ground. The Americans had no prior training of LW/AW Radar construction.
