Description
Rosehill Racecourse, Sydney, NSW. Members of the American Army (not in view) have completed the construction of a Mark 1 Light Weight Air Warning (LW/AW) Radar in a training exercise. Note the camouflaged tent and flies. The radar, when complete, was designed to withstand sixty pounds of pressure per square foot, this equates to a 100 miles per hour wind.
