< Previous Record | Next Record >Souvenir program for a fundraising event held during the First World War. The bazaar and fancy dress ball was held at Sydney Town Hall on Saturday 4 September 1915. The programme for the benefit concert is enclosed in a leather covered folder, with the words 'Town Hall, Sydney, September 4 1915' engraved in gold on the bottom left hand corner of the cover. The inside cover of the folder has a bookplate pasted to it, with 'ex libris Ernest S Marks' printed on it. E S Marks was an Honorary Secretary of the NSW Amateur Sportsman's Fund. The program is 32 pages long. It contains advertisements, information about the NSW Amateur Sportsmen [of NSW] fund in aid of our wounded soldiers, photographs of members and patrons and the programme of events.
