Description
Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program was presented to members of the Australian Military and Naval forces attending a concert at Royal Albert Hall on 26 December 1918. The cover illustration, drawn by Fried Leist, shows three soldiers at rest. All are portrayed wearing hats with their packs and two are smoking. One sits, one reclines and one is leaning on his weapon. The concert featured instrumental performances, comedians, acrobats and dancers as well as tug-of-war competitions and a pushball match.
