Description
Australian First World War poster issued by the Government to promote the sale of Liberty Loan bonds. It features the image of a soldier in uniform in the upper right. He is appealing to two older civilian men, with his hand outstretched, as if begging for money. The message includes the quotation "Money is a good soldier". The title and text are printed in black below. Both the image and text are set against a red, white and blue background and framed with a red and blue border.
