Description
Copy of a story written by Lieutenant Williams' granddaughter, Emma Hay, relating his experiences of service in the Second World War. Williams served with 2/40 Battalion and became a POW of the Japanese in Singapore, Thailand and Japan. The manuscript refers closely to original diaries and correspondence written by Lieutenant Williams during his Second World War service.
