Studio portrait of 3030 Sergeant (Sgt) Philip Eric Kemp Devine, 49th Battalion, AIF, of Dalby, Qld. Sgt Devine enlisted on 22 May 1915 and embarked from Brisbane aboard HMAT Warilda on 5 October 1915. He was killed at Pozieres, France on 13 August 1916, aged 22.
