Studio portrait of 2724 Private (Pte) Martin Penhallurick, 52nd Battalion, AIF, of Tooloombilla Station, Qld. Pte Penhallurick enlisted in Mitchell, Qld on 21 August 1916 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Ceramic on 7 October 1916. He died in 11 June 1917 after being wounded at Messines, Belgium, aged 23.
