Studio portrait of 16082 Private (Pte) Norman Francis McWaters, 11th Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps, of Horsham , Vic. Pte McWaters enlisted at Toowoomba, Qld, on 5 January 1916 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Demosthenes on 22 December 1916. He was killed in action on 17 October 1917, at Passchendaele, France, aged 27.
