Group portrait of NX152702 James Mitchell Cornwell from Henley, NSW, with his younger sister and brother while at home during his first leave. Cornwell enlisted on 15 October 1941 and served with 35 Company Australian Army Service Corps (AASC) and later in New Guinea with 184 Australian Supply Depot Platoon and 9th Divisional AASC (2/31 Platoon, 2/6 Supply Depot Company AASC). He was discharged on 11 October 1946, having attained the rank of Lieutenant.
