Description
'Allegory of war' (also known as the Futility of wars I) depicts the futility of war through allegorical figures, including the Ayatollah, Knights of Malta, Italian Fascists, a Napoleonic figure, Prussian soldiers and English guardsman, the figure of an SS in uniform, English business class figures, religious fanatics, bombs and skulls.
