Colection relating to the service of Australian war artist and Defence photographer George Gittoes, 2001.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of a letter written by Australian war artist and Defence photographer George Gittoes to the Australian War Memorial, on a souvenir-issue envelope, on 15 February 2001. The letter gives personal information about a SAS soldier and combat medic, Jonathan Church, who is depicted in one of the stamps on the envelope. Church, shown wearing United Nations insignia, was photographed by Gittoes while on operations in Rwanda in 1995.
