Description

A red ribbon is cut before being placed around the pillar of a house to signify that it has been searched by troops of 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR) during Operation Burnside. The troops found little evidence in the Phuoc Tuy Provice town of Dat Do of Viet Cong activity despite the approaching Republic of Vietnam national elections early in September.
