Description

It was a proud moment for two fathers, both serving with HMAS Sydney, and their two soldier sons, both with the 1st australian Task Force, when the Sydney anchored off Vung Tau, to take home men of the 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR). Some quick radio messages flashed back and forward to the ship to arrange meetings on board. Left to right are: Petty Officer George Daly and Sapper Stephen Daly; and Private Allan Williams and Lieutenant Cecil Williams.
