Description
First World War poster issued by the Civilian Service and Labour Department in Philadelphia to encourage women to enroll for voluntary civilian service and where to go to sign up. It features an image of Uncle Sam holding a piece of chalk in front of a blackboard. Above the board is a sign with the words ' Honor Roll of Women who will work to win the war'. The image takes up the majority with the titled and text integrated and positioned in the upper and lower right printed in pale orange and blue ink.
