Young Australian soldiers join in beach games, Chariot Race, as part of their fitness programme during the Cadre Training Course for entry into the Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment. The first two weeks of the six week Cadre Course is spent on Rottnest Island, eleven miles off the West Australian coast from Perth. The course is the final stage of testing to calculate the suitability of applicants for the SAS Regiment.
