Description
Studio portrait of 622 Private (Pte) Frederick Henry Lockwood, 22nd Battalion, of Harrietville, Vic, holding a rifle. Pte Lockwood enlisted on 26 February 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Ulysses on 8 May 1915. He was killed in action on 15 May 1918 in France, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, Australian Machine Gun Corps.
