Description
Studio portrait of 149A Private (Pte) Walter Chibnall, 24th Battalion, of Ballarat, Vic. Pte Chibnall enlisted on 18 January 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Euripides on 8 May 1915. He died of wounds on 20 August 1918 in Daours, France.
