Studio portrait of 2813 Private (Pte) George Albert Fuller, 39th Battalion. A native of London, England, Pte Fuller was a butcher from Fremantle, WA prior to enlistment and embarked with the 6th Reinforcements from Fremantle on HMAT Persic on 20 December 1916. He was killed in action at Passchendaele on 4 October 1917, aged 19, and having no known grave, is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
