Description
Studio portrait of 65 Private (Pte) Frederick Cecil James, 4th Divisional Signals Company. Pte James enlisted on 17 August 1914 and returned to Australia 23 October 1918. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) on 19 April 1917 and was commissioned to the rank of lieutenant.
