Description
Studio portrait of 691 Private (Pte) Henry Roy Summersford, 22nd Battalion of Fitzroy, Vic. Pte Summerford enlisted on 17 February 1915 and died of wounds 22 October 1915 at Gallipoli Peninsula. A confectioner in civilian life, he was one of three brothers who served, another of whom also died.
