Description
Studio portrait of 584 Private (Pte) Albert Edward Craner, 22nd Battalion, of Deniliquin, NSW. Pte Craner enlisted on 3 February 1915 and was killed in action on 4 October 1917 at Zonnebeke Wood, Belgium. Pte Craner was born at Fillongley, near Covetry, England and had been in Australia four years working as a butcher.
