Description
Studio portrait of 2629 Private (Pte) Charles Frederick Morris (left), 7994 Pte Vincent James Glennon, of Melbourne, Vic (centre) and 2237 Pte John Thomas Gill, of Elsternwick, Vic (right). Pte Morris enlisted on 29 May 1915 and returned to Australia on 9 December 1918 with the 60th Battalion. Pte Glennon enlisted on 2 August 1915 and was killed in action on 1 October 1917 at Menin Road in Belgium. Pte Gill enlisted on 5 March 1915 and died of wounds on 7 May 1918 at Villers Bretonneux in France.
