An outdoors group portrait of unidentified original officers and men of the 26th Battalion. Four officers in the front row (second, fifth, sixth and seventh from the left) are wearing Military Cross ribbons. Note the officers fifth and seventh from the left both have two wound stripes on their left sleeve and another officer (front row, third from the left) has one wound stripe. The men are in front of the Marchienne-au-Pont school.
