Pots and pans
Description
British Second World War poster advising proper care for pots and pans. In the top third of the poster is an image of pots and pans with the title printed around them in red ink. Below this are six paragraphs containing tips for maintaining homewares, with an illustration next to each paragraph in black and red ink.
Due to the interference in the North Atlantic trade route from North America to England by German U-Boats, there was a dearth of goods and homewares during the war years. This poster is one of many that educate and instruct the British population in care and maintenance of homewares, goods, and clothes.
