Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers of 1657 Trooper (Tpr) James Elia Bertram Peisley, 1st Australian Light Horse, of Singleton, NSW. Tpr Peisley enlisted on 9 September 1915 and embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard RMS Morea on 17 February 1917. He died of sickness in Egypt on 17 October 1918 aged 29 years.
