Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers, of 1014 Trooper (Tpr) Edward Cahill Loughran, 11th Australian Light Horse, of East Brisbane, Qld. Tpr Loughran enlisted on 26 June 1915 and embarked from Brisbane aboard HMAT Hymthettus on 17 September 1915. He was wounded on 6 May 1918 in the Jordan Valley, Palestine, and died of these wounds, and associated pneumonia, in Egypt on 25 May 1918 aged 20 years.
