Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers, of 2747 Trooper (Tpr) William Thomas Papworth, 15th Australian Light Horse, of Coonamble, NSW. Tpr Papworth enlisted with the Camel Corps on 3 January 1917 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Port Sydney on 9 May 1917. He died of malaria and septic pneumonia in Egypt on 5 December 1918 aged 27 years.
