Identified from left to right, back row: Captain (Capt) John Joseph Bourke from Temora, NSW; Capt Frank George Robertson from St Kilda, Victoria; and Capt William Arthur Empey from Auburn, Victoria. Front row: Major Robert John De Courey Talbot from Brighton Beach, Victoria on the left and the CO Lieutenant Colonel Leslie Charles Whitfield DSO, from Melbourne, Victoria on the right. All officers survived the war and returned to Australia.
