Description

A group of unidentified Australian stretcher bearers, some carrying rolled up stretchers, leaving a tank hole and relay post near Clapham Junction. The soldier on the far right is wearing a Red Cross armband. Note the derelict tank (a Mk IV, as defined by the shape of the central machine gun position and the unditching rails) in the background. The tank appears to havve lost its forward cupola.
