Description

An outdoors group portrait of the staff of the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station. This unit entered Germany with the Rhine Army of Occupation in December 1918. The sister sixth from the left in the front row is probably Head Sister V H Zichy-Woinarski AANS. All others are unidentified. An officer in the front row (first from the right) is wearing a Military Medal ribbon. Note the drawing of the rising sun on the chalk board in the front row.
