The 1600 metre relay race at the Inter Allied Games held at the Pershing Stadium. The two Australians competitors (background centre) are 5144 Driver Leslie John Hume, 1st Machine Gun Company, sprinter from Boggabri, NSW (left) and 6552 Private Thomas Frazer, 20th Battalion, runner over distances from 880 yards to ten miles and championship holder from Enmore, NSW (right), who is holding the baton.
