Description

British poster depicting Hurricanes in flight. 'Facts of the fight for the factory - Spitfire Bulletin No. 14. Two Focke-Wulf 190s dropped bombs on a south coast town and hoped to get away unscathed. But two spitfires were after them like lightning. Only just skimming the sea at over 300 M.P.H., they chased them 80 miles across the channel to Le Havre, shot one into the sea and smashed the other beyond hope of its landing. The enemy never turned to fight... they knew better. - Ministry of Aircraft Production. Their success, their confidence, their safety - They all depend on you. '
