Studio portrait of 554 Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) John McAlister Hardman Lockwood, 1 Squadron, RAAF, from Geelong, Vic. Flt Lt Lockwood enlisted on 4 September 1939 and was killed on 14 February 1942 during operations over Sumatra, aged 22. He is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial in the Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore.
