Members of the multinational Peace Monitoring Group (PMG) force in flight, from Australia to Bougainville where they were to take up peacekeeping duties. Idenified personnel in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Hercules transport aircraft include Staff Sergeant (SSGT) Waqa Kaiva from Fiji. Note the yellow brassards embossed with a white dove that the group are wearing.
